We are looking for a dedicated Gear Design Engineer to drive excellence in gear production for our customers.

This new position will be a gear expert within our Engineering department to support both of our facilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize gear manufacturing processes
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure quality and performance standards
  • Select appropriate tools, materials, and machines for gear production
  • Design fixtures and special tooling to support manufacturing
  • Implement and support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives
  • Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in high volume gear manufacturing
  • Experience in generated heat treat recipes, metallurgical experience and gear design required
  • Solid understanding of gear types (spur, helical, bevel, etc.) and gear cutting methods
  • Familiarity with CNC machines, CAD/CAM software, and gear design software

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
