Key Responsibilities of the Legal Secretary:

  • Manage billing and credit control functions, including the preparation of bill requests, narrative management, and follow-up on outstanding invoices.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, ensuring all logistical arrangements and necessary documentation are in place.
  • Assist in client communications, document preparation, and various administrative duties as required.
  • Support marketing efforts, including the organization and coordination of events.
  • Contribute to team growth by sharing insights and mentoring junior colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with team members across different departments to ensure effective service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Secretary, preferably within the legal or financial sectors.
  • Experience in billing and credit control is advantageous, although candidates with a strong administrative background are encouraged to apply.
  • Exceptional organizational and administrative capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle a demanding workload while supporting multiple team members under pressure.
  • Proactive and confident in exercising judgment to meet the needs of clients and the team.
  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills and a positive, adaptable attitude.

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Familiarity with document and practice management systems, with training provided as necessary.
