Clinical Laboratory Support Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Medical Laboratory Assistant. This role will involve working in a fast-paced laboratory environment, providing excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. They will be responsible for performing venepuncture and other duties related to specimen collection, data entry, processing, and delivery into sites for pathology investigations.
The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Pathology Collections or previous experience in venepuncture, as well as demonstrated customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, carers, and clinical staff.
In addition to their technical skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
