Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Claims Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling financial lines insurance claims efficiently and effectively, delivering high-quality services to our valued stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Timely input, processing, authorisation, and payment of claims.
  • Determination of professional lines claims in accordance with industry standards, company policies, and applicable legislation.
  • Proper documentation of claims processing and outcomes.
  • Managing claims using external and internal specialists to achieve effective settlement outcomes.
  • Managing complaints as per guidelines.
  • Negotiation of claims settlements.
  • Continuing improvement focus on implementation of new work practices and procedures.
  • Development of technical expertise and participation in professional development and training.
  • Delivery of exceptional customer service and development of strong relationships with customers and service providers.
  • Reporting in accordance with relevant company service standards and manuals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Professional experience in financial lines claims is preferred.
  • Legal background and/or qualifications are highly regarded.
  • Understanding of relevant industry legislation.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, analytical, and technical skills.
  • Pro-active and energetic approach to all aspects of claims handling.
