Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our cleaning and facilities team as a Cleaning and Facilities Team Member at Woolworths Eastgardens.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining a clean and hygienic workplace. As a Cleaning and Facilities Team Member, you will be responsible for completing various tasks such as sweeping, cleaning walls and bathrooms, emptying bins, and collecting trolleys. You will also work collaboratively with other teams to deliver specific cleaning needs and support customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete daily tasks allocated to you in the planner, including sweeping the shop floor, cleaning walls, bathrooms, trolley bays, and team room, and emptying bins.
  • Collect trolleys on foot from the car park and surrounding areas.
  • Work across departments to deliver specific cleaning needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions or providing directions to customers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • The ability to stand for long periods and lift loads between 5-10kgs.
  • Flexibility to work across Monday-Sunday and shifts starting from 6am or 5pm.
  • A good eye for cleanliness and small details.
