Sample Handler

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sample Handler to join our team. As a Sample Handler, you will play a vital role in maintaining our capability to analyze soil, water, and air samples. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Receiving and sorting samples upon arrival
• Ensuring samples are identified, labelled, and stored correctly
• Pre-registering or registering samples in SLIM
• Providing assistance to the team by logging in and/or cross-checking entries
• Liaising with clients to ensure satisfactory customer-focused services are provided
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace to prevent contamination during the log-in and sub-sampling process

Key Responsibilities:
• Receive and sort samples upon arrival

Requirements:
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field
• Commercial laboratory experience preferred
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive company vehicles
• Flexibility with morning or afternoon shifts
