Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team at Footbridge Community Care Unit (CCU). As a key member of our team, you will provide specialist treatment and support to consumers who suffer with serious mental illness and associated psycho-social complexities.
The CCU is a 20-bed service that operates under a framework for recovery-oriented practice, utilizing the strengths model. We offer a range of services including ongoing specialist treatment and support, case management, and liaison with families and external professionals.
Your Key Responsibilities- To undertake nursing duties and case management within the strengths model of recovery-oriented practice
- To administer medication in accordance with hospital procedures, protocols, and policies
- To contribute effectively in clinical review processes and team activities
- To maintain all documentation in line with SVMH policies
We are looking for an experienced Enrolled Nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality care to individuals with complex needs. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess a Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in nursing which meets the registration requirements of APHRA.
You will also have a Post-registration qualification in a relevant area of specialty or be in the process of achieving same. Additionally, you must hold a current National Criminal History Check or be willing to obtain one.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,751 to $73,897 per annum pro rata, depending on experience.
