Job Title: Software Operations Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Operations Officer to manage the relationship with Defence enterprise Atlassian product serve delivery teams, process mapping and identifying non-value add steps to create lean and agile processes, and contribute to the planning and implementation of maintenance and installation work, including building and configuration of infrastructure components in virtualised environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage relationship with Defence enterprise Atlassian product serve delivery teams
  • Process mapping and identifying nonvalue add steps to create lean and agile processes
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of maintenance and installation work, including building and configuration of infrastructure components in virtualised environments
  • Implement agreed infrastructure changes and maintenance routines
  • Process Automation and integration within Atlassian toolset
  • Provide reports and proposals for improvement to specialists, users and managers
Requirements:
  • Australian citizenship and NV1 security clearance required
  • Certified SAFe Practitioner (Desirable)
  • Atlassian administration experience (Jira and Confluence)

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, Australian government and or Defence experience, tertiary qualifications in ICT, Computer Science or a related discipline.
