Job Title: Senior Client Services Officer
OverviewThe Senior Client Services Specialist is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for delivering exceptional support to our clients and stakeholders. This individual will play a key part in ensuring the seamless administration of superannuation activities, providing expert guidance and assistance as needed.
This position requires a high level of expertise, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and process superannuation administration work items end-to-end, including customer liaison via phone and email.
- Contribute to basic project work to support the leadership team.
- Liaise with advisors, solicitors, promoters, trustees, members, and peers to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
- Catalogue and organise records for reference, auditing, and reporting purposes.
- Document process steps for all activity types, including checklists and processing milestones.
- Perform quality and peer checks at a senior level.
- Report monthly on work volumes, SLA adherence, and systemic issues across all activities.
- Identify and escalate issues to the appropriate manager.
- Provide backup support as required.
- Carry out other duties as directed by the Client Services Manager.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Ability to work at a computer for at least 90% of a 7.5-hour workday, five days a week (or pro-rated for part-time employees).
- Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage clearly with all key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining Microsoft Excel worksheets.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining Microsoft Word documents.
- Previous experience in a customer service or dispute resolution environment.
