About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Digital Product Visionary - Land Access and Cultural Heritage to join our team at Rio Tinto. As a member of our Information Systems and Technology division, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of digital solutions that support our business-critical programs and initiatives.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in product management, with experience in driving strategic product roadmaps and working closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality products. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop innovative solutions that meet those needs.

In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the future of our digital products and services, working closely with senior stakeholders to drive product vision and strategy. You will be responsible for providing strategic recommendations to inform investment decisions and ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned with the product's direction and progress.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, as part of blended teams, to collaborate widely with senior stakeholders, articulate and then drive product vision, strategy and roadmaps. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning and execution of scoping, requirements definition, and prioritization for complex initiatives
  • Analyse business and market trends as well as end-user data to identify opportunities and understand customer needs
  • Collaborate with internal leadership, subject matter experts, and key business stakeholders to define and prioritize roadmaps of digital solutions linked to value cases and customer requirements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in a relevant field
  • At least 5 years' experience in product management, preferably in environmental and/or approvals contexts in mining
  • Proven ability to manage and develop product strategies
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to structure issues and analyse alternative solutions
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences
