We are currently seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Manager to join our team on the Central Coast / Mackay region.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in civil road and transport infrastructure planning, design, and construction.

  • Proven ability to lead a team to execute elements of the project life cycle, including planning studies, detailed designs, and construction contracts;
  • Strong consultation, conflict avoidance, group facilitation skills; and managing and supervising projects to meet policy, standard and specification requirements;
  • Time & Cost Estimating, Developing Budgets, Documentation, Creating Charts and Schedules, Risk Analysis, Managing Risks and Issues Strategic Influencing;
  • Exposure & understanding of relevant policies, standards & specifications;
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and prioritising;
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships;
  • Computer literacy, in established industry programs;
  • Well developed organising and problem solving skills;
  • High attention to detail, Controlling Quality, Monitoring and Reporting Progress;
  • Working with vendors & community consultation;
  • Committed to HSE & QA Policies and procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification accepted by the Institution of Engineers Australia as a full Member (MIEAust);
  • A valid driver's license & own mobile phone.
Work Arrangements

This role is proposed to be 45-55 hours over 5-6 days per week. The position is based in Mackay, however some work away in regional or remote locations may be required depending on project needs. Due to the longevity of opportunities, we prefer locals or relocations, but we will consider FIFO or DIDO assignments. You must have the right to work in Australia, with well-developed interpersonal and consultative skills and a current drivers license.
