Montessori Academy Early Childhood Teaching Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Montessori Academy.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and knowledgeable educator to work in a 40-place centre with a close-knit team. As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education and care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance, support, and general supervision to all enrolled children.
  • Undertake required training and professional development to meet NESA Teacher Accreditation requirements.
  • Be involved in program and curriculum development and delivery to support children's learning and development.
  • Assist with the implementation of daily routines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Current Working with Children Check.
  • First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • Excellent understanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, including the National Regulations, National Quality Standards, and the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment.
