As a structural engineer in training, you will contribute to the design of building projects with the support of experienced professionals in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • You will work on simple projects or sections of projects, progressing towards responsibility for project sections.
  • You will apply standard engineering techniques to solve problems and assist senior engineers with analysis, design production, and calculations.
  • You will prepare detailed analyses of building structures and assist with preparation of specifications, fee proposals, reports, and documentation under close supervision.
About You:
  • Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering and be a member of Engineers Australia.
  • They should also have a good understanding of BCA and relevant Australian Standards, as well as 0-3 years of experience in structural engineering.
  • The ability to apply theoretical engineering principles to practical situations through analysis and interpretation is essential.
