Structural Engineering Role

We are seeking a talented Graduate Structural Engineer to contribute to building design projects with senior engineer support in a collaborative environment.

  • Work on simple projects or sections of projects, progressing towards responsibility for project sections
  • Use standard engineering techniques to solve problems
  • Assist senior engineers with analysis, design production, and calculations
  • Prepare calculations and analysis of building structures
  • Assist with preparation of specifications, fee proposals, reports, and documentation under close supervision
  • Liaise and coordinate with builders, architects, and services engineers on design issues under senior engineer supervision

About You:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Graduate membership with Engineers Australia
  • An understanding of BCA and relevant Australian Standards
  • 0-3 years of structural engineering experience
  • The ability to apply theoretical engineering principles to practical situations through analysis and interpretation
