We invite applications from skilled professionals for a Facilities Manager position within our real estate company. This role is responsible for overseeing the operation of commercial buildings, ensuring their efficient management and sustainability.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing service providers, contractors, and building control systems to deliver FM services in accordance with established service level agreements. Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with tenants to provide customer-focused FM services;
  • Managing service providers and contractors to implement approved works according to established service level agreements;
  • Ensuring the delivery of sustainability outcomes, including 5-star WHS&E accreditation, energy, water, and waste minimisation;
  • Assisting the Senior Facilities Manager in the efficient operation of all building control systems;
  • Managing and implementing supplier services effectively and efficiently;
  • Coordinating and managing the execution of FM CAPEX and FM Projects works in a timely manner and to project standard;
  • Providing input to the budgeting process for assigned building(s) as required.
Key Responsibilities:

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proven experience within facilities management;
  • Working knowledge of commercial building operations and different types of maintenance;
  • Knowledge of effective utilisation of energy, water, and waste;
  • Working knowledge of WHS policies and practices prevalent in a safety culture;
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills;
  • Good written and verbal communication;
  • Trade certificate or Engineering degree qualifications preferred;
  • Strong customer focus – service-oriented.
