Job Description:

The role of facilities manager is pivotal in ensuring operational continuity, safety, and efficiency across industrial spaces.

This includes overseeing the day-to-day operations, managing routine safety inspections, partnering with contractors, planning maintenance work, and maintaining records.

Duties encompass managing production, manufacturing, and test support facilities, as well as identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize facility performance.

  • Lead the implementation of capital improvement projects that enhance the overall effectiveness of the facility.
  • Collaborate closely with equipment owners to ensure seamless future equipment moves and planning, including the installation of necessary utilities and efficient workflow design.
  • Collaborate with the Environmental Health and Safety team to maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Maintain fire suppression, HVAC, plumbing, water tanks, and other essential utility repairs to support facility operations.
Required Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting aerospace, defense, automotive, or manufacturing facilities.
  • Technical training in plant engineering or maintenance, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering concepts, including electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience managing EHS within a facility setting.
  • Knowledgeable and experienced in operating and maintaining heavy machinery, such as forklifts, aerial lifts, gantry cranes, and hoists.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Facility management or coordinator experience.
  • Experience managing day-to-day operations and projects.
