Job Overview:

The Duty Manager role is a key position within the NOCC centre, responsible for operational management of the Public Safety Network from the NOCC.

This includes response to alarms and events in accordance with established processes and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of NOCC Operators, managing workload and priorities.
  • Responsible for Operations and Maintenance of all Network associated services and systems.
  • Effective management of live Incident, Problem, and Change Management cases.
  • Judicious Management to prevent SLA breaches.
  • Proactive Event Management and Incident response to prevent Service Availability Interruptions.
  • Raise standards ensuring accurate fault reporting and consistent ticket commentary.
  • Authority to make decisions in relation to Critical, Major, Emergency-type Incidents and Events.
  • Escalation and Emergency Contact duties.
