Key Role in Network Operations

The Duty Manager is a critical position within the Network Operation Control & Communication centre.

They oversee operational management of the Public Safety Network, responsible for ensuring continuity of network services and systems.

This role involves leading a team of NOCC Operators, managing workload and priorities, as well as effective management of live Incident, Problem, and Change Management cases.

A key aspect of this role is jeopardy management to prevent SLA breaches and proactive event management with incident response capabilities.

The ideal candidate will possess post-qualification experience in an operational or technical environment, combined with ITIL IT – Service Management and Leadership Management skills.

A degree-level qualification in Electronic/Electrical Engineering/Telecommunications Engineering/Computer Engineering or Business Management is also essential.

Australian Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance as a condition of employment.
