We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team as AO4 Assessment Officers, commencing as soon as possible.
About the RoleThe primary function of this role is to assess complaints regarding defective building works and investigate, assess, and determine claims.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and assess complaints about building works and insurance claims, reviewing relevant legislation, policy conditions, guidelines, and procedures to make determinations on consumer entitlements.
- Provide advice to senior assessment officers in regard to dispute resolutions.
- Monitor, review, and report on the insurance schemes' performance.
- Undertake general duties that contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Resolution Services team.
- Demonstrated knowledge of or ability to rapidly gain a thorough understanding of the range of legislation, acts, codes of conduct, etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated sound investigative, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, including planning and organizing an ongoing caseload.
- Knowledge of the Building and Construction and/or Insurance industries is highly regarded.
