About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Early Career Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team at the Women's and Children's Health Network. As a key member of our Physiotherapy Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality assessment, treatment, education, and health promotion services to neonates, women, children, adolescents, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physiotherapy services to patients across various areas of the health service, including Women's Health, Respiratory, Orthopaedics, Neurodevelopmental, and Hospital in the Home.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop effective treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practice guidelines.
Requirements
  • Recent graduate in Physiotherapy or early career physiotherapist with a strong passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Knowledge of contemporary physiotherapy theories and models, with a focus on paediatric and women's health.
