Industrial Electric Systems Technician

We are seeking a skilled electrical maintenance professional to support the safe and efficient operation of our industrial environment.
Job OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with trade qualifications in electrical engineering to join our team as a key member of our maintenance crew. The successful applicant will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance tasks, identifying and rectifying faults, and ensuring all electrical work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on electrical systems and production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair faults involving PLCs (Allen Bradley) and variable speed drives (VSDs)
- Ensure all electrical work meets quality, safety, and industry standards
- Negotiate NSW Electrical License with completed Australian electrical apprenticeship
- Experience in industrial environments or strong aptitude from domestic background
- Expertise with Allen Bradley PLCs and VSD systems required
- Completion of full Australian electrical apprenticeship
- Minimum 2 years' hands-on experience in electrical systems
- Proactive approach, excellent fault-finding skills, and commitment to workplace safety
