**Electrical Systems Technician Role Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Systems Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment at Western Sydney International Airport.

This is a full-time on-site role that requires working 12-hour shifts on a 24/7 roster. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

The key focus areas for this role include preventative and corrective maintenance (electrical), fault finding on automated systems, and using data analytics to enhance system performance. The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Engineering - Electrical and at least 3-5 years post-trade experience as a Service Technician.

In addition to your technical skills, we are looking for someone who is highly motivated, has good written and verbal communication skills, and is able to provide technical support to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular electrical maintenance inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Diagnostics and repair of electrical systems and components.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical support to customers and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Engineering - Electrical.
  • At least 3-5 years post-trade experience as a Service Technician.
  • Strong electrical background working on industrial automated equipment.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dual Trade Certificate (electrical and mechanical) highly regarded.
