Job Role

  • Assist the on-site manager with electrical and cabling systems installations, drawing interpretations, programming, testing, and commissioning across commercial building sites.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of technicians, tradesmen, and project managers to deliver electrical projects in accordance with company standards and timeframes.
  • Maintain adherence to relevant codes and industry standards governing electrical installation and maintenance.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Manage administrative tasks including call reports and time sheets.
  • Attend call-outs as per roster requirements.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with electrical and mechanical tools.
  • Understand written information and instructions, correspond clearly and concisely.
  • Track inventory components used in work processes and ensure parts are correctly booked out to tasks.
  • Perform other duties as directed by your supervisor.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hold a Pre-apprenticeship Certificate II in Electrotechnology.
  • Possess a construction induction card.
  • Hold a current Australian driver's license.
  • Own a vehicle.
  • Have year 12 qualifications (preferred).
  • Be proficient in English and Mathematics.
  • Meet additional qualification requirements as necessary.
  • Gain experience in trade or customer service roles (beneficial but not mandatory).
  • Ability to climb a ladder.
  • Willingness to perform overtime and shift work when required.
  • Pass a national police and medical check.
