
Technician of Electrical Systems

We are seeking an Electrical Technician to join our Operations team in New South Wales. This role plays a pivotal part in the energy industry's future, making a significant impact on regional, rural, and remote communities.
This position is crucial for the delivery of technical services encompassing maintenance, construction, inspection, and operation of equipment related to energy transmission and distribution systems.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in selecting, testing, fault finding, repair, and maintenance of electrical infrastructure. They will also possess proficiency in high and low voltage switching and permit issuance.
Audits and safety processes are essential aspects of this role, ensuring compliance with business requirements. The ability to implement enterprise WHS and Environmental procedures is also critical.
About You:
- Experienced Electrical Technician with a wealth of knowledge and skills.
- Extensive experience in selecting, testing, fault finding, repair, and maintenance of electrical infrastructure.
- Proficiency in High and Low Voltage switching and permit issuance.
- A commitment to audits and safety processes, ensuring compliance with business requirements.
Your skills extend beyond technical expertise:
- Effective problem-solving during unplanned events.
- The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Basic computer proficiency relevant to the role.
- Strong interpersonal skills, enabling professional communication with stakeholders and customers.
Required Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
- Driver's License.
- Qualified Supervisors Certificate.
- WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Certificate.
- Attainment and ongoing successful maintenance of all regulatory, industry, and business required licenses, authorizations, and other such certificates deemed necessary for the role.
