Loss Prevention Security Specialist

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reducing shrinkage by detecting and deterring theft, ensuring efficient and compliant loss prevention activities, and supporting the Selling & Service Team Members in delivering service excellence.

About the Role
  • Reduce shrinkage and protect company assets through proactive measures such as monitoring CCTV and implementing security protocols.
  • Support the achievement of store objectives and financial imperatives by advocating national shrinkage reduction tactics and educating retail team members on loss prevention strategies.
  • Maintain a visible Loss Prevention presence, utilizing store technology and conducting regular checks to identify and communicate shrinkage trends and issues.
  • Liaise with local police and centre security to maintain professional relationships and investigate loss prevention risks and incidents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A current Security License and First-aid Certificate.
  • Experience relative to loss prevention, security, and customer service.
  • Certificate II in Security Operations.
  • Numeracy skills with understanding of financials.
