Job Title: Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated support specialist to provide care and companionship for individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer emotional support and engage in daily activities with clients
  • Assist with personal care, medication management, and other daily tasks
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social events as needed
  • Provide a supportive environment and maintain accurate records of care provided

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with vulnerable populations or similar role
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • NSW Working with Children's Check (WWC)
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC)
  • Police Check (Valid if within 5 years)

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Certificate III in social and community work or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working with people who require support
  • Additional qualifications in aid in nursing or Registered Nursing
