Companionship and Support Specialist

As a Companionship and Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing care and companionship to our guests. This opportunity delivers a unique chance to make a real difference in people's lives while enjoying a rewarding career.

Our Social Clubs offer a welcoming environment where older people can socialise, connect with their community, and spend the day in a supportive atmosphere. You will work alongside our experienced team of care workers to deliver person-centred care, supporting guests with their daily needs and promoting their overall well-being.

  • Job Description:
  • Deliver high-quality care and support to our guests, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Work collaboratively with our care team to develop and implement individualised care plans.
  • Provide companionship and engage guests in activities that promote socialisation and community connection.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture, fostering a sense of belonging among guests and colleagues alike.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • No formal qualification is necessary, however, Certificate III Individual Support is highly desirable.
  • First Aid certificate is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests and colleagues.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment, demonstrating empathy and compassion in all interactions.
