Workforce Development Manager

The successful candidate will have the chance to drive strategic decisions, improve workforce outcomes, and contribute to a modern, future-focused Council. They will be responsible for leading initiatives in attraction, retention, onboarding, and employee engagement, as well as providing expert advice on performance management and workforce planning.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional who has a relevant degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Employee Relations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR, recruitment, and organisational development, and possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive workforce development strategies to meet business needs.
- Liaise with stakeholders to identify talent acquisition and retention opportunities.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Maintain accurate records of workforce data and metrics.
- Holds a relevant degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Employee Relations.
- Has extensive experience in HR, recruitment, and organisational development.
- Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Is experienced in managing change, performance issues, and workforce planning.
