Children's Centre Leadership Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to lead our children's centre, providing a safe, enjoyable, and supervised space for children to learn, play, and make friends while their parents are away.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, maintaining a secure environment, and developing well-balanced programs that cater to individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the effective management of daily operations, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all children.
  • Develop and implement programmes that promote social skills, relationships, and a sense of belonging among children.
  • Support and develop staff skills, providing opportunities for training and excellence.
Requirements:
  • Working with Children Check
  • First Aid in an Education and Care Setting (HLTAID012)
  • CPR (HLTAID009)
  • Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk (CHCPRT025)
  • Experience in a similar role as a Responsible Person, Team Leader, Director, or Senior Educator
  • Understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and My Time Our Place (MTOP)
  • SITSS00069 Food Safety Supervisor
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent
  • Cert IV in School Age Education and Care
