About Laboratory Scientist RoleJob Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Scientist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, preparing samples and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform various laboratory tests and experiments as per established protocols.
  • Prepare and handle chemical solutions and reagents in accordance with safety procedures.
  • Conduct quality control checks on all test results to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Communicate laboratory findings and results to colleagues and management effectively.
  • Participate in daily testing activities and assist in the development of new laboratory procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve technical issues and improve overall laboratory efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory activities and results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science, Chemistry or related field.
  • Detailed understanding of HACCP principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in laboratory analysis and quality control is an asset.
