Structural Engineering Lead

The Discipline Manager oversees the structural engineering team, guiding project teams and ensuring successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities include leading and supporting project teams, collaborating on projects and proposals, drafting and reviewing technical documents, implementing revisions and compliance updates, conducting research and field assessments, analyzing survey data and site conditions, utilizing engineering software, managing client and agency communications, and providing project updates and status reports.

  • Project Leadership: Lead project teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality results.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop and review technical documents, including site plans, reports, and utility computations.
  • Communication: Collaborate with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Compliance: Implement revisions and updates to plans and documents as required.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in structural analysis and design of steel and concrete foundations and platforms for solar PV systems, electrical and mechanical equipment, and miscellaneous structures for utility-scale solar projects.
  • Experience working on utility-scale solar and BESS projects.
  • Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, ROBOT, L-PILE, or equivalent software.
  • Registration as PE.

This is a full-time role requiring a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or structural engineering and registration as PE. A master's degree in structural or civil engineering is preferred.
