Job Description

The role involves leading and supporting project teams by guiding team members on various assignments under the direction of the Project Manager. This will include providing technical training and mentorship to ensure project success.

Responsibilities include collaborating with team members and clients to develop project plans, prepare proposals, and ensure all deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations. The individual will also be responsible for drafting and reviewing technical documents, including site plans, reports, utility computations, project schedules, permit applications, and due diligence/site analysis reports.

Additionally, the job requires implementing revisions and compliance updates based on feedback from agencies, municipalities, and clients, ensuring compliance with local and state regulations. Conducting research and field assessments, analyzing survey data and site conditions, utilizing engineering software, managing client and agency communications, and providing project updates and status reports are also key responsibilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
  • Master's preferred in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • Eight (8) plus years of experience in structural analysis and design of steel and concrete foundations and platforms for solar PV systems (racking and tracking structures), electrical and mechanical equipment, and miscellaneous structures for utility-scale solar projects.
  • Experience preferred in structural analysis and design of structures for substation and T-line projects.
  • Registration as PE.
  • Registration as SE preferred.
