Discipline Manager Role Overview

Key members of our structural engineering team are sought to lead and support project teams on various assignments.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural analysis and design, with experience in software such as STAAD.Pro or equivalent. They will also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, allowing them to work effectively with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Support project teams under the direction of the Project Manager.
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to develop project plans and ensure deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations.
  • Prepare technical documents, including site plans, reports, utility computations, and permit applications.
  • Implement revisions and compliance updates based on feedback from agencies and clients.
  • Conduct research and field assessments to support project development.
  • Utilize engineering software efficiently while adhering to standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and agencies, responding to review letters and coordinating project updates.
  • Provide regular project updates and status reports to keep stakeholders informed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
  • Master's preferred in Structural or Civil Engineering.
  • Eight (8) plus years of experience in structural analysis and design of steel and concrete foundations and platforms for solar PV systems, electrical and mechanical equipment, and miscellaneous structures for utility-scale solar projects.
  • Experience working on Utility Scale Solar and BESS projects.
  • Professional Engineer registration, Structural Engineer registration preferred.
