We are looking for a fit and enthusiastic retail professional to join our team who can assist with delivering plants and planters across metro Melbourne.

The required hours for this role are Wednesday to Saturday 10am to 5pm and Sunday 11am to 4pm, totaling 31.5 hours per week. With penalty rates applied, the total wage is equivalent to approximately 38 hours.

To be successful in this role, you will have a reasonable knowledge of indoor plants and preferably have spent time within the horticulture industry.

Delivery will take place approximately 1-2 days, and we will supply a commercial van and cover all car expenses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serving customers by providing indoor plant advice and styling advice
  • Quality control, presentation, and restocking for plants and planters
  • Relocating, watering, and fertilising plants, plant maintenance and disease and pest control
  • Point of sale transactions
  • Fulfilling online orders for in-store pickup, shipping, and delivery
  • Cleaning and tidying retail and storage space
  • Other day-to-day retail operations and nursery duties
Requirements:
  • Previous retail nursery experience is an advantage
  • Competent using iOS devices and basic software
  • Physically fit
  • Horticultural qualifications are desirable
  • Must have a full Australian Driver's License
  • Fit to lift and carry plants and planters from your car to delivery destinations
