Harness Racing Victoria is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Steward.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for administering race day operations, ensuring fairness, safety, and compliance with Harness Racing Victoria Rules and Policies.
- They will start races and trials, oversee the conduct of race meetings, and display strong race-reading skills.
- Additional duties include conducting inquiries into race day incidents, attending race meetings and inquiries, and completing documentation accurately.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where no two days are the same. As a Steward, you will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Key Requirements- Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively start harness races.
- Proficiency in computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Current motor vehicle driver's licence.
- Sound understanding of Harness Racing Victoria Rules and Regulations.
- Knowledge of the harness racing industry and its operational environment.
