Quality Assurance Coordinator Role

This key position plays a pivotal role in implementing and maintaining quality systems, ensuring compliance with legislations and promoting best practices. As a liaison between safety teams and the organization, you will foster a safe work environment.

  • Maintenance of licenses and certifications for optimal performance.
  • Active participation in audits, review of non-conformances, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Management of winery food safety and quality standards (including HACCP, Organics, Freshcare) and prerequisite programs (such as GMP, Pest Control, Approved Supplier Program, product recall, allergen management, and waste management).
  • Development and implementation of environmental initiatives to meet company targets and industry best practice for energy reduction and cleaner processing.
  • Assistance in maintaining compliance to SH&W procedures and policies, including communication of safety updates to the team.
  • Support with monthly hazard inspections, hazard inspection schedule, and report to safety teams.
  • Management and update of Job Safety Analysis/Risk Assessment records and maintain register.
  • Collaboration with SH&W strategy and operating plan execution, ensuring alignment with overarching business strategy.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • HACCP trained.
  • Formal education in Food Safety/Quality or equivalent.
  • Experience in auditing processes.
  • Cert IV Work Health Safety.
  • High level of computer literacy and administrative skills.
