Regional Infrastructure Strategist

This position involves collaborating with stakeholders to coordinate and facilitate the delivery of long-term infrastructure and planning initiatives. The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of regional infrastructure strategies, policies, and plans, taking into account statutory, financial, and council directions.

The key responsibilities include undertaking complex transport infrastructure network planning, master planning, costing, and prioritization for key planning projects. This includes the Local Government Infrastructure Plan (LGIP) and Growth Areas Management Program, as well as business requirements.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring all long-term regional infrastructure planning, strategies, and policy meet statutory regulations. Additionally, they will develop policy to support major developments and high-growth areas, meeting business needs and community expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering, Urban Planning, or a relevant field
  • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable
  • Driver's Licence
