We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our value chain transformation initiative.

The successful candidate will create and drive the implementation of process improvements across our business, championing initiatives aligned with our overall strategy.

This role will focus on driving efficiency and productivity through practical process improvement and Lean Six Sigma methodologies, as well as business process maturity across all functions of the organization.

You will represent our company globally, working to identify ways to accelerate culture change and embed our process improvement system as a 'way-of-life' across the organization.

In addition, you will be accountable for the successful deployment of strategic plans, motivating and engaging an informal team of local experts from across the business to ensure a return on investments and results.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Developing a cohort of core business process owners to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our complex ecosystem.
  • Managing the project pipeline to deliver expected results, prioritizing initiatives that demonstrate tangible cost benefits, accelerated business growth, and/or prevention of lost business.
  • Establishing strong capability across the business for business analytics and performance insights, focusing first on the quote to cash process, then expanding beyond to all core business processes.
  • Partnering with finance and other personnel to evaluate project results, including financial, customer, and employee impacts.
  • Challenging organisational leaders to create an action-biased culture of continuous improvement and accountability to improve their KPIs, including growth, productivity, asset utilisation, inventory, and customer allegiance.
  • Maintaining a communication plan that keeps the business and employees informed of pipeline status, project outcomes, and their contribution to the business, customers, and employees.
  • Working with commercial leaders and partners with key customers to overcome challenges by using process improvement business systems and acting as facilitator to lead outcomes.
  • Creating and leading an informal network of process improvement change agents across divisions and locations.
  • Leading, motivating, developing, and coaching the process improvement team, building capability and technical expertise within the team through comprehensive development plans.
  • Leading a continuous improvement culture that encourages employee involvement and ownership to drive business results.
  • Identifying best practices within or outside the company and serving as a conduit for best practice sharing.
  • Working with a sense of urgency to motivate & drive stakeholders to complete actions within agreed timelines.
  • Portraying our company values in all activities and actions.

Requirements/Qualifications:

- 10+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally in an operational / technical environment as well as extensive experience in commercial environments.

- Project Management Leadership.

- Prior managerial experience, including demonstrated strategic thinking, influencing skills, resilience, and change management.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Six Sigma certification or black belt highly preferred.
  • PPI Process Manager or equivalent certification such as Lean (preferred).
  • Resourcefulness to take what we have and improve upon it.
  • Experience in working in a global and matrix organisation with a decentralised model.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills — with focus to PowerPoint, Power BI, Excel, and Project.
