About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Officer to join our team at Graymont (Australia) Pty Ltd. As a key member of our quality management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the implementation and maintenance of our Quality Management System.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all activities associated with the Quality Management System, including procedures and document creation/revision.
  • Conduct internal quality audits and manage customer concerns and corresponding corrective/preventive actions.
  • Promote the Quality Policy and measure quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
  • Assume the role of Administrator of the Enterprise Quality Management Software.
  • Lead a team of quality auditors (internal or external) and prepare reports and maintain documentation of audit results.
  • Track monthly metrics generated from the Quality Management System and metrics collated from the different QA/QC teams.

Requirements:

  • A College or University degree in a Science or related program.
  • Good knowledge of continuous improvement and Quality Management Systems and Internal Audit in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven teambuilding and leadership skills and able to work with operations, technical, sales and management staff.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills, and attention to detail; must be able to manage multiple tasks with the ability to work independently and to meet deadlines.
