About the Role

The ICT Procurement Support Officer plays a crucial role in the successful delivery of ICT procurements for the Indigo Program. Reporting to the Indigo ICT Assistant Director, this position assists the procurement team in managing ICT contracts, drafting procurement documentation, and conducting tender evaluation processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Documentation: Draft procedural, governance, and procurement documentation with minimal direction, ensuring compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and relevant policies.
  • Contract Management: Perform contract management duties, including administrative tasks such as invoicing and scheduling vendor management meetings.
  • Tender Evaluation: Support ICT tender evaluation processes and manage procurement schedules to ensure timely and effective delivery of procurements.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Monitor compliance and produce procurement reports as required, ensuring transparency and accountability in procurement activities.
Requirements
  • Experience: Comprehensive experience with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and relevant policies, with a proven track record in conducting complex end-to-end procurement activities, including contract management.
  • Skills: Demonstrated experience working in an ICT procurement environment, drafting complex procurement documentation, and successfully managing risks relevant to ICT procurement.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Relevant Qualifications: Relevant qualifications and/or industry certification, such as a Diploma of Government or Certificate IV in Government (Procurement and Contracting), or equivalent.
