Job Overview

This is a highly attractive opportunity for a skilled Senior PV Design Engineer to join our east coast-based team. As a key member of our engineering lifecycle, you will play a pivotal role in delivering large-scale solar projects from early conceptual design to construction and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed design packages for large-scale solar PV projects using AutoCAD.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to refine designs during project stages.
  • Manage design deliverables from external consultants.
  • Conduct energy yield analysis using tools like PVSyst and PV*CASE.
  • Oversee the transition of design packages to construction, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide technical support during the commissioning phase.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in designing utility-scale solar PV systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with PVSyst and PV*CASE is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles as they apply to solar projects.
