We are seeking a skilled Draftsperson with strong ArchiCAD proficiency to join our residential drafting team. Our client is a leading builder of contemporary homes across Melbourne, known for their innovative approach and commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes for their customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate documentation, coordinating with consultants, and offering design and efficiency suggestions to support better project delivery.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Draftsperson ready to make a meaningful impact in the residential construction industry.

About the Role

The role involves working independently and within a team to meet deadlines and resolve technical issues. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in the residential housing and construction industry, with advanced ArchiCAD skills and a high level of accuracy in preparing construction documentation.

Tertiary qualifications in Drafting and/or Design are highly regarded, and proven ability to work collaboratively with others is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce accurate and complete drafting tasks within agreed deadlines.
  • Commission reports and technical information with external consultants.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending innovative building methods or materials.
  • Liaise with the team to ensure designs meet compliance, functionality, and aesthetic standards.

Skills & Experience Required
  • Advanced ArchiCAD skills with demonstrated experience in residential drafting.
  • At least 5 years' experience in the residential housing and construction industry.

  • Proven ability to work independently and within a team.
