About the Role

This role is about leading quality initiatives in complex projects, creating systems from scratch. The successful candidate will implement quality management and document control frameworks across various stages of project development, ensuring alignment with industry standards.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and embed a comprehensive quality framework for the project
  • Lead quality planning and assurance across design, manufacturing, fabrication, installation, and commissioning
  • Establish inspection/test strategies and oversee third-party QA/QC teams
  • Ensure compliance with Australian and international standards, including ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001
  • Build document management and reporting systems that enhance transparency and accountability
  • Identify risks early and implement proactive quality mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate inspections, audits, and sign-offs with contractors, regulators, and stakeholders

The ideal candidate is a strategic quality leader with experience in delivering large-scale energy infrastructure initiatives, particularly in environments where quality systems had to be established from the ground up. They should possess strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, as well as expertise in guiding teams of QA/QC professionals.
