We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced First Aid and Administrative Support Officer to join our team at East Doncaster Secondary College. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for providing primary first aid care to students and staff, administering medications, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary first aid care to sick or injured students and staff.
- Administer medications as per medical plans and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate the development and maintenance of health plans for students with chronic illnesses and disabilities in consultation with medical professionals.
- Ensure student medical alerts are up to date and communicated effectively to staff.
- Manage the First Aid area in accordance with Department of Education Policy and Guidelines.
- Follow professional obligations, including child safe standards and Mandatory Reporting legislation.
- First Aid qualifications (minimum level HLTAID011)
- Experience in a similar capacity
- Strong administration and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and passion for delivering work to a high standard
- Strong organisational and time management skills
As a member of our team, you will have access to a range of employment conditions and working arrangements. Appointment will be made subject to a satisfactory pre-employment conditions check. A probationary period may apply during the first year of employment, and induction and support programs will be provided.
