First Aid Officer/Administration

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced First Aid Officer/Administration to join our team at East Doncaster Secondary College. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide primary first aid care to students and staff, including administering medications and maintaining accurate records.
- Coordinate the development and maintenance of health plans for students with chronic illnesses and disabilities in consultation with medical professionals.
- Ensure student medical alerts are up to date and communicated effectively to staff.
- Liaise with parents and external providers to facilitate immunisation programs and ensure student medical needs are met.
- Assist with various administrative tasks, including maintaining records, coordinating first aid supplies, and responding to emergency situations.
- Current First Aid qualifications (HLTAID011) and experience in a similar role.
- Strong administration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, students, and parents.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to child safety and wellbeing.
