Role Description

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will work with clients to identify their goals and provide psychological or physical supports to help them achieve a better quality of life.

You will be part of a highly skilled multidisciplinary team that is collaborative, supportive, and fun. The role offers flexibility and autonomy, allowing you to manage your own day with support from a close-knit team of healthcare professionals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Case management with support from Rehabilitation Assistants
  • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes
  • Developing injury prevention and workplace education programs with employers and employees
  • Collaborating with injured workers, employers, and health professionals
  • Working across various schemes like workers compensation, third-party insurance, and government programs
  • Supporting clients to achieve health and work outcomes
  • Conducting Vocational Assessments and injury management services

Our organization welcomes new graduates - internal supervision available.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling
  • Application support for Associate or Full ASORC membership and supervision
  • Current AHPRA registration or ASORC Membership
  • Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation (highly regarded)
  • Excellent communication skills, empathy, and time management
  • Current QLD Driver's License and own vehicle with insurance
