Associate Manager - Treasury Regulatory Reporting Specialist

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Manager to join our Treasury Regulatory Reporting team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing balance sheet and statistical reports for external regulators, maintaining updated documentation to support annual regulatory audits, and identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation.

About the Role:

This is a key position within our team that involves engaging with internal stakeholders, analysing data to drive decision-making, and participating in process improvements to ensure adherence to control standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare balance sheet and statistical reports for external regulators
  • Maintain updated documentation to support annual regulatory audits
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
  • Engage with internal stakeholders and analyse data to drive decision-making
  • Participate in process improvements to ensure adherence to control standards and regulatory compliance
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary degree in Business or Commerce
  • Previous experience in financial services or banking, with knowledge of regulatory reporting, data, accounting, and associated systems and processes
  • Technical accounting and regulatory knowledge, including AASs and APRA reporting standards
  • Experience engaging and managing stakeholder relationships through written and verbal communication
  • Professional accounting qualification such as CA or CPA is highly regarded
