Occupational Therapist Career Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress. The successful candidate will provide support to Aboriginal children aged 0-12 and their families to optimise their child's mental health.
The role involves working within a continuous quality systems enhancement framework, ensuring all Aboriginal children in Central Australia have access to evidence-informed assessment and therapeutic services.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver occupational therapy services to support children with suspected or emerging mental illness or behavioural disorders.
- Conduct early assessments, therapy, management, and family support to limit the severity and progression of mental health challenges.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality service delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working with Aboriginal children and families, preferably in a community-controlled health setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.

- A base salary of $100,210 - $112,222 per annum.
- Total effective package: $123,479 - $137,115 per annum.*
