About the Position

Opportunities exist to join the Honourable Associate Justice Daly within the Supreme Court of Victoria. Her Honour hears a variety of civil matters, including interlocutory matters and trials.

This role offers hybrid arrangements and additional leave entitlements, subject to chambers commitments. A legally qualified individual is sought to provide high-level legal support and administrative services both in chambers and in the courtroom.

The successful candidate will require excellent written and oral communication skills, organisational skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. Time management skills, prioritisation, customer service focus, and capacity to communicate at all levels are essential.

A strong academic record with excellent research skills is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess a strong interest in a career in the law.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct legal research and participate in judgment production process;
  • Clerking in court (including virtually);
  • Liaising with Court staff, the public and the profession;
  • Document management;
  • Proofreading and editing judgments;
