Job Description

As a highly skilled and motivated Design Lead Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design and technical delivery of major infrastructure projects, including water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, reservoirs, and network upgrades.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale projects that drive innovation and sustainability in the water industry.

  • Lead multi-disciplinary design teams to deliver complex water infrastructure projects from concept through to construction.
  • Oversee technical design development, ensuring compliance with project scope and schedule.
  • Coordinate inputs from engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline).
  • Strong understanding of Australian water industry standards and Sydney Water requirements.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Chartered Engineer status (CPEng) or working towards it is highly desirable.
